The National Weather Service in Morristown has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 4 PM this afternoon to 10 am EDT Sunday.

Snow showers are expected for locations above 3000 feet from this afternoon through Sunday morning. The higher elevations of southwest Virginia... including Clinch Mountain and High Knob... may receive 1 to 2 inches. The northeast Tennessee mountains and the Smoky Mountains could see up to 3 inches in the highest elevations.
